These are the 5 simple steps to choose a Professional Custom Tailor!!

1.What can you do for me that I can't get from a regular store?

Answer: A retail store carries a standard inventory, and that's all they can offer you. Whenever you buy from a retail outlet, you are always buying 'off the rack'. Here at Petersen Cerruti, custom tailoring is our only business. That's why we can create for you, fully custom made shirts, suits and slacks in the exact style and fabric of your choice. In addition, we offer you these premium features at no extra charge. Even if you were to the department stores and get their tailored suits from brand name designers or prices offered are way more affordable. I guarantee you as a client, that we offer more for the same dollar value spent at major department stores.

For Custom Suits

- Hand-embroidered initials or your full name inside jacket

- Hand-picked and matched linings and buttons

- Functional button holes on sleeves

- Additional inside pockets

For Custom Shirts

- Hand-cut, hand turned collars

- Monograms

- Generous tails

- Over twelve collar styles to choose from (We can even duplicate your favorite shirt!)

2.Can I order fabric swatches?

Answer: Swatches of our fabrics are available for those who would like to see the actual material and colour before placing an order. Each set of between 120 to 150 different fabric and colour choices is available for ordering. Please bear in mind that it can take anywhere between 4 days up to 3 weeks for the swatches to be delivered depending on the immediate availability of the sets or if new sets are being constructed. Since preparing the swatches is a very labour intensive project, it may take longer than our regular turnaround time. The set contains several basic fabric and colour choices available online and offline for Suits, Jackets and Blazers, Trousers and Shirts that is in stock in our inventory

3.Is it possible for you to duplicate the fit of a favorite shirt presently in my wardrobe?

Answer: Absolutely! Just send us your shirt with your order. We'll be glad to incorporate any changes you might want, and then return the shirt you sent with your new Petersen Cerruti shirts.

4.Why go bespoke?

Answer: There is nothing like the feel and look of a tailor made suit. Our body shapes vary considerably, and with such limited choice given to us by the shops the chances of finding a suit that fits properly are extremely slim, even for a normal-shaped person (whatever that might mean).

5.How I do choose the right color of fabric for my skin and occupation?

Answer: Choosing a suit color is one of the most overlooked areas in the quest for the perfect suit. This is because many men choose a suit color based on what color they like looking at rather than what color looks best on them or which color is best for the situation. This article will go into skin shades, body types, and even different events that require the use of a suit. Colors discussed in this article are black, blue, brown, gray, and tan.

The black suit is great for both formal and somber events such as funerals, proms, and weddings. This suit looks good on all skin colors and is acceptable for all different body types. However, you will find that this color does have a slimming effect and will look best on larger frames.

The blue suit is best for the office and is the number one interview suit, (also known as the power suit). Men with lighter skin shades will look better in this color than men with darker skin shades. All body types look good in this color but thinner men benefit from it the most.

Wearing a brown suit is useful when you want to separate yourself from the majority without appearing flashy. You can wear this color to the office and to most formal occasions. Men with darker skin look best in this color. Small to large body types can all wear this color

The gray suit is a staple for any mans wardrobe. This suit comes in varying shades of gray but if you can only buy one make sure it is charcoal gray. Men with medium builds look best in this color. All skin shades look fantastic in this color on any day of the week.

Wearing a tan suit in a colder climate is a bad idea. This suit is reserved for spring and summer events. Medium and slender builds with darker skin skin shades look best in this color suit.
